Timeline
1969 – We began our transportation operations in 1969 as Transportadora Sinimbu Ltda.
1998 – Following the consolidation of Sinimbu’s logistics operations with two other traditional Brazilian transportation companies, Schlatter and Transfer, and the entry of Axis do Brasil, whose shareholders were Grupo Coimex and Allied Holdings (the largest outbound transportation logistics operator in the United States), we began operating under the corporate name Axis Sinimbu Logística Automotiva S.A.
2001 – We acquired Translor Veículos Ltda., a pioneering company in the transportation of new (zero-mile) vehicles in Brazil.
2002 – We changed our corporate name to Tegma Gestão Logística Ltda., as a result of the acquisition of the stake previously held by Allied Holdings by Grupo Coimex and Grupo Itavema-Sinimbu.
2004 – We acquired 49% of Catlog’s shares, the exclusive logistics provider for Renault and Nissan in Brazil.
2007 – We carried out our IPO on the São Paulo Stock Exchange, acquired the companies Tegma Cargas Especiais Ltda., P.D.I. Ltda. and Tegma Logística Integrada S.A. (formerly CLI), and established Tegma Venezuela S.A.
2008 – We acquired the vehicle transportation business operated by CTV, which has a strong presence in Brazil’s Central-West and Northern regions.
2011 – We acquired control of Direct Express Logística Integrada S.A., a company responsible for B2B and B2C deliveries with a strong presence in the e-commerce market.
2012 – We acquired the business operated by LTD Transportes Ltda. through the acquisition of 100% of Trans Commerce Transportes de Cargas Ltda., focused on the less-than-truckload (LTL) logistics market, especially the distribution of goods weighing over 30 kg.
2014 – We sold Direct Express to a company controlled by B2W – Companhia Digital, 8M Participações Ltda.
2017 – The management approved the sale of the 25% stake in the jointly controlled subsidiary Tegma Venezuela S.A. and the creation of Brazil’s first logistics startup accelerator, TegUp Inovação e Tecnologia Ltda.
2018 – Creation of GDL – Gestão de Desenvolvimento em Logística Participações S.A., a joint venture that brought together the general warehousing and cargo handling activities carried out in Cariacica (ES) by Tegma Logística Integrada and Companhia de Transportes e Armazéns Gerais (SILOTEC).
2019 – Tegma, through tegUP, invested in Rabbot Technologies Ltd, a company specialized in automated fleet management.
2022 – Tegma, through tegUP, took part in a capital increase in Rabbot Technologies Ltd, reaching a 16.2% ownership interest.
2025 – Fastline, a Tegma subsidiary, acquired 70% of Buskar.Me, a logistics platform specialized in the removal, transportation, storage and warehousing of used vehicles.
