4Q09 Operating Release
TEGMA transports 311,100 brand new vehicles in 4Q09, 49.5% more than in 4Q08.
São Bernardo do Campo, January 14, 2010 – TEGMA GESTÃO LOGÍSTICA S.A. (BM&F Bovespa: TGMA3), one of the largest logistics management providers in Brazil and leader in the transportation of brand new vehicles for the automobile industry, hereby informs its shareholders and other market players of its key operating indicators in the vehicle transport segment.
In 4Q09, TEGMA transported 311,103 brand new vehicles, a 49.5% increase over the same period last year.
In 2009, the number of vehicles transported grew by 9.2%.
Considering only the vehicles transported within Brazil (domestic and imported vehicles), annual growth was 13.1%.
Average distance in 4Q09 came to 970 km per vehicle, 7.9% higher than in 4Q08. Average distance in 2009 was 973 km per vehicle, 14.6% more than in the previous year.
